World Day of Prayer for Youth, November 20, 2022

On November 20, 2022, the Church is called to celebrate the World Day of Youth. Instituted in 1985 at the conclusion of the International Year of Youth, and in conjunction with Saint John Paul II’s World Youth Day gatherings, this observance has previously taken place on Palm Sunday. In 2020, His Holiness, Pope Francis, transferred the date to the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe.

As you may be aware, Premier Ford rescinded Bill 28 this morning. As a result of that decision CUPE has agreed to bring an end to their withdrawal of service.

School-Level Ventilation Improvment Measures

Dear Parents/Guardians:
Over the last two years, the Ministry of Education has continued to invest over $665M in improving ventilation. As students and staff return to school and spend an increased amount of time indoors as the weather cools, it is vitally important that school communities are aware of the measures being taken in schools to improve ventilation and filtration.
