Safe Schools
At the Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board, we are committed to maintaining safe, welcoming, and respectful learning environments. In alignment with Policy/Program Memorandum (PPM) 128, which guides the implementation of the Provincial Code of Conduct, our schools promote positive behaviours and responsible citizenship.
PPM 128 requires school boards to:
- Develop and enforce codes of conduct that reflect the values of respect, civility, and inclusion for all members of the school community.
- Establish clear expectations for behaviour, including the responsible use of technology and social media.
- Ensure that incidents affecting school safety, such as bullying or aggressive behaviour, are addressed promptly and effectively.
Our board works collaboratively with students, families, educators, and community partners to foster environments where every individual can learn and grow. Regular reviews of school codes of conduct ensure that our practices remain relevant and effective in promoting safe learning spaces.
