Team Bluewater Achieves National Recognition at the 2025 Canada-Wide Science Fair

Charlotte Woodhouse from St. Mary’s High School (Grades 11 and 12) was awarded a Bronze Medal for her project, "The Price of a Pedigree: Inbreeding's Toll on Holstein Production."

Jack Lang from Sullivan Community School (Grades 7 and 8) earned a Silver Medal for his project, "Wing Shape vs. Lift." Jack's project also received the Youth Science Canada Junior Aerospace Challenge Award, recognizing it as a top project in its category.

Other outstanding students from Team Bluewater who were recognized as Canada-Wide Science Fair Finalists include:

  • Isaiah Baker (St. Mary’s High School) for "How Wi-Fi Affects Plant Growth."
  • Jade Lowry (Kincardine District Secondary School) for "Which hand drying method is cleanest? A post-covid investigation."
  • Tristan Lush (Georgian Bay Community School) for "Wool Pellets as a Peat Moss Alternate."
  • Chayle Oatt (St. Mary’s High School) for "Colostrum-Bettering your calves’ health?".
