Letter to Parents Regarding Stay At Home Orders

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As a result of the announcement from the Premier yesterday we wanted to provide you with a brief update. It was indicated in the announcement from the Ministry that “...by January 20, 2021 the Chief Medical Officer of Health will advise the Ministry of Education on which Public Health units will be permitted to resume in-person instruction, based on the most up to day data and modelling.”

Accordingly, we will let you know about the school return scheduled for January 25, 2021 as soon as we get the information from the Ministry of Education. We will communicate directly with families.

If your family still requires a computer device (chromebook) in order to participate in remote learning please let your Catholic School Principal know by this Friday, January, 15, 2021 and arrangements will be made for families to pick up the device.

As we move into this next level of protective factors, the state of emergency and stay at home orders, we ask that you please follow the safety protocols and public health measures outlined by our local public health. By doing so we will be working together to keep our community safe.

Be Safe and Be Well,
God Bless,

Gary O’Donnell
Director of Education
