June 23, 2025 Highlights

  • Math Achievement Action Plan (MAAP): The Board of Trustees received an update to the MAAP and endorsed the plan as presented by Carrey Diemert.
  • Pastoral Plan Review: Superintendent of Education, Lisa Bilodeau, welcomed Maria Lowerison to present the Pastoral Plan Review, which was then accepted by the Board.
  • Special Education Plan and Report: Superintendent of Education, Lisa Bilodeau, shared an overview of the Special Education Plan and Report, which was subsequently accepted by the Board.Board Budget Report front page
  • Budget: Executive Superintendent of Business Services and Treasurer Alecia Lantz presented a detailed report of the 2025/2026 BGCDSB Budget. The Board approved the budget for the 2025-2026 fiscal year as presented, including all revenue and expenditure estimates.
The Chair, Lori Di Castri, expressed gratitude for the dedication and hard work of staff for the past school year and wished everyone a restful summer break. Next Meeting Date: The next Board Meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 25, 2025, with the Committee of the Whole at 8:30 a.m. and the Regular Board Meeting at 9:45 a.m..
