Mental Health Awareness Week and Catholic Education Week were celebrated from May 5th to 9th, 2025,
Applause Breakfast Student Awards celebrated on May 5th, 2025.
A Synodal Listening Collaboration, "Listening to the Spirit, Listening to each other," was held on May 9th, 2025 with school leaders and parishes participating.
After School Tutoring Program successfully concluded on May 9th,
An assembly for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2-Spirit (MMIWG2S+) was held at St. Mary's High School on May 5th, 2025.
A Public Consultation for SHHS was held on May 6th, 2025 - a Thought Exchange for gathering community input is available online until June 27th.
The "Open Table" community dinner ( take what you need, give what you can ) is scheduled for May 27th, 2025. Dinner will be served 5:00-6:30 pm at Holy Family Parish. Cost is take what you need, give if you wish.
June will focus on inclusion and belonging, with daily prayers, the flying of the Pride and Every Child Matters flags, and resources on Indigenous knowledge and anti-Black racism.
SHHS hosted its annual STIGMA walk on May 7th to support mental health awareness.
A Parent/Caregiver engagement night is scheduled for Thursday, May 22nd, 2025, at St. Mary's High School (SMHS) in Owen Sound.
Student Achievement - Indigenous Education Action Plan: Acting Superintendent of Education, Papy Mukenge, presented the Indigenous Education Action Plan 2024-2025, outlining its connections to the Board Strategic Plan, provincial policy framework, and Catholic Social Teachings.
Student Trustee Reports: Student Trustee Reports were received from Kate Bester (Sacred Heart High School) and Vani Mahajan (St. Mary's High School).

Committee Reports: Committee reports were received from the Equity Committee, SEAC, and Mental Health Advisory Committee.
Future Business: Upcoming events include Equity Committee meetings, SEAC Committee, Safe Schools Committee, IEAC, CPIC, Retirement and Recognition Dinner, CCSTA AGM Conference, and Business Committee meetings.
Next Meeting Date: The next Regular Board Meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 16, 2025, with the Committee of the Whole at 8:30 a.m. and the Regular Board Meeting at 9:45 a.m..
