TOEFL, OSAP, BANK LOANS

TOEFL
The Test of English as a Foreign  Language is used to evaluate the English proficiency of people whose native language is not English.

OSAP
The objective of the Ontario Student Assistance Program is to help students from lower income families to meet the costs of post secondary education. OSAP is intended to promote equality of opportunity for post secondary studies by providing direct financial assistance for educational costs (such as tuition fees, books, and supplies) and basic living expenses.

LOANS
A Student Line of Credit is different from traditional ways of paying for school. Unlike a typical loan, once approved, you just take out what you need when you need it, as many times as you want (up to your credit limit of course). During the time you're in school, you pay interest only on the amount you actually use.  You may need a co-signer.  Contact the Manager of your bank.

Senior & Junior Girls are

2003 Ontario Rugby 10's AND Rugby 7's Champions!

(3 years in a row!)

Thursday, October 9, in Toronto, both our girls teams captured Provincial Crowns at the Ontario Rugby Union 10's Championships. The girls went ready to win and that's exactly what they did!

The Junior Girls started off the day playing Bracebridge and coasted to a 20-0 win. Their next game was awesome as they defeated Banting 44-0. Their 3rd game proved to be the toughest, resulting in a 15-0 win. As they won their pool the girls advanced to the final game where they convincingly shutout the other Banting team 37-0!

Junior girls

The Senior Girls carried on the Sacred Heart tradition of giving it their all. They first matched up against York Mills, beating them 37-0. The next team who had to play the Heart was Kingston. SHHS outscored them 29-0. The next game was against the rough and tough Stratford team. It was an awesome game, everyone played great and our Crusaders beat them 17-0. Winning their pool advanced Sacred Heart to the semis against rivals Holy Cross. It was all Sacred Heart as they won 27-0. In the final, the seniors took on Brock, a fast team but no match for our Heart as we went on to win by a lopsided 40-0 score.

sr. girls

As a result, both the Senior and Junior Girls teams are 2003 Provincial Champions in both Rugby 10's and 7's. This is the 3rd year in a row for both girls teams capturing the Provincial 10's titles. In 7's action the Senior Girls have won 3 years in a row, while the Juniors have won 2-3 years. Way to go ladies ... you're a real Rugby powerhouse!
