Notre Dame runs a Robotics Club. This year, Mr. Brian Ferguson is our coach. As part of the ROBOLAB "Mindstorms for Schools" program, our school has several robotics kits. Students begin by learning the basics of creating and programming a robotics unit. The Education Network of Ontario has helped to train teachers and provide materials for students to use. In addition, we will be participating in the Skills Canada Challenges held each spring in Kitchener, Ontario. In fact one of the schools in our board won the junior competition last year.
