Mother Teresa School was opened in 1988 and has been named after the missionary humanitarian, and Nobel Prize winner, Mother Teresa. Staff and students here at Mother Teresa School try to live according to her words "Holiness is not a luxury -- you are all invited to it" "we all have much to give, to share, to contribute" "doing something beautiful for God ... is what life is all about."

Nearly three hundred and fifty students attend Mother Teresa school, with classes from Kindergarten to Grade Eight. Mother Teresa School replaces Sacred Heart School, originally located beside Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, and dating back to 1891 as a separate school.

Mother Teresa School has been built with the Library/Resource Area in the center and classrooms surrounding it. The kindergarten classrooms, offices and gym are situated to the west side of the resource area.

We are all proud to be a part of Mother Teresa School and try to reflect our lives according to the life of our namesake. Click here if you would like to contact us by email.
