Community Use of School FacilitiesThe Program Community Use of Schools is an initiative that supports access to school space outside of school hours for not-for-profit community groups. It is the intent of the Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board to make Board owned facilities and grounds available for Community Use, provided that the normal educational programme and activities of the school are maintained. Rate Reductions Under the Community Use of School Facilities Program, non-profit and/or community endorsed groups may be eligible for reduced rates. Non-profit: a function from which the proceeds, if any, are used for charitable or community purposes. Community Endorsed: a function which is endorsed by a municipal recreation authority, or in those townships without an established recreation authority, by a municipal council or by a recognized community association. (Blank forms also available at each school) Application and Permit for Use of School Facilities Application for All Sport Insurance (if applicable) Questions Individuals/community groups with questions are encouraged to contact the school. All applications are processed through the individual schools.
