Each year the Central Western Ontario Secondary Schools Association (CWOSSA) recognizes individuals within their districts who have promoted athletics and supported student-athletes through their involvement in school sport at the local, district, and regional levels.  Mark Dunn, physical and health education teacher at Sacred Heart High School, Walkerton, is one of two recipients of the 2010-2011 CWOSSA McNally Award for the Bluewater Athletic Association.  Mark coaches multiple sports - volleyball, basketball, track and field - at Sacred Heart High School. He has convened both volleyball and basketball at the district level and served as convener for the CWOSSA “AA” Boys Basketball Championships.  Mark’s past and present involvement in high school athletics is an excellent example of the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations’ (OFSAA) philosophy:  “education through school sport.”
