Mr. Mike Neuts
A father’s message to parents to prevent bullying
In 1998, ten year old Myles Neuts died after he was found hanging from a hook in a washroom stall at an elementary school in Chatham. The tragedy sparked a long, painful process for the Neuts family, their school and their community.
Mike Neuts wants to affect change, talk about bullying, stand up for each other, understand differences and the importance and need for empathy. He has presented numerous times in schools in our area.
Our School and School Council is pleased to offer an evening for parents and friends to hear his important message. Mike will be spending the day at Mary Immaculate School talking to JK/SK, Grades 1-3, Staff, Grades 4-8 and then parents in the evening.
The evening presentation is not suitable for elementary aged children. Parents, grandparents, interested adults and other community members are encouraged and welcome to join us for the evening presentation (6:45—8:45pm).
Food will be available from 6:00— 6:45pm
PLEASE RSVP by calling Linda @ 366-2731
