A special meeting of the Board of Trustees was held Monday March 7, 11:00 a.m. at the Catholic Education Centre.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss tenders and funding proposals for an addition at St. Basil’s School in Owen Sound. The new addition will provide three additional classrooms to accommodate the expanded Full Day Learning program to begin in September 2011, as well as retro-fits to the existing kindergarten classrooms.
The Board approved the funding proposal for the St. Basil’s School early learning addition and renovation as presented, at a total cost of $1,554,894.
The Board also approved the selection of Allen Hastings Limited of Miller Lake as the successful tender for the project at a bid price of $1,248,900 excluding tax.
