An announcement from the Office of Director of Education Jamie McKinnon.

May's Virtue is Integrity

Integrity Wordle

Integrity

Integrity is following the example of Jesus, by standing firm for what we believe, even when it is hard.  A person of integrity follows his or her conscience, making choices which are loving and life-giving.

Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honourable,

whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing,

whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence,

and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

(Philippians 4.8)

Dear God,

I praise You for showing me what is right and wrong

Through the examples and teachings of Jesus, and the Church.

Form my conscience in the truth,

So that I can make choices which are loving and good

Even when it is hard.

Give me courage to stand up for what I believe,

And work for justice in all circumstances.

Help me to walk in the Spirit of your Son,

Who always lived life with integrity.

Amen.
